Design Approach
This Module K project interprets the izakaya as a garden-like sequence. Dense planting and narrow woven screens create discovery, while stepping stones and low edges give circulation a tactile rhythm.
Dark stone, black metal, and warm concealed lighting establish a grounded evening atmosphere. A sculptural sign and reflective surfaces provide memorable focal points without overwhelming the landscape-like interior.
